Prof. Chen ha been trained in many famous foreign medical centers for thoracic and cardiac surgery and has been engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years. He is very experienced in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of various complicated thoracic diseases, especially lung cancers, esophageal cancers, mediastinal tumors, chest wall tumors and deformities. He has successfully performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures and trained many excellent thoracic surgeons during his clinical practice. Prof. Chen has published more than 50 research articles and participated in multiple thoracic surgery-related monographs. He was in charge of a number of national and provincial scientific research projects and has won the first prize of scientific and technological achievements of Guangdong Province, the second prize of scientific and technological progress, the first prize of scientific and technological achievements of national health commission, and the third prize of scientific and technological progress of national health commission.
