Bio
Professor Zeng has been engaged in the clinical treatment for emergencies and critical illness for over 30 years and is good at comprehensive treatments for severe stroke and MODS. Under his leadership, the team of critical care has been awarded national key clinical specialties and was ranked the ninth in the 2020 STEM ranking list for the first time in China. Serving as the executive chairman of the Southern Critical Care Forum, he led a total of 16 national and provincial natural science projects.

Awards and Honors
Professor Zeng was awarded the title of "Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker and the Order of Merit in Fighting SARS" by China Science and Technology Association, and the title of "First-class Merit in Fighting against SARS" by Guangdong Provincial Government in 2003. The "Clinical and Experimental Research on Hypertonic Saline Relieving Cerebral Edema" led by Professor Zeng won second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award in 2014. He was selected as an expert honored with special government allowances from the State Council, and a leading medical talent in Guangdong Province. He won the "Outstanding Achievement" award at the second national outstanding doctor ceremony in 2018.
Professional memberships:
Professor Zeng served as the eighth vice-chairman of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the first vice-chairman of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association and a member of the first committee of the Emergency Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctors Association. He is currently serving as vice-chairman of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Stroke Association, former chairman of Emergency Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, chairman of the ICU Management Committee of the Guangdong Hospital Association, and deputy editor-in-chief of the Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine.
