Biography

Dr. Gao Yuyuan is a neurology resident at the Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital（Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences）. He is the scientific secretary of Guangdong Neuroscience Institute. He is a member of Movement Disorder Society. Dr. Gao is mainly engaged in acute and inacute treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of stroke, especially in the neurointervention of cerebrovascular disease. He has undertaken and been engaged in more than 8 research projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program of China, Medical Scientific Research Foundation of Guangdong Province, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, etc. He has published more than 20 articles, including 9 in peer reviewed international journals. He has five patents awarded by State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China.
