Clinical Interests: Dr. Wu is known for her diagnosis and treatment for chronic cough and asthma, individualized treatment for lung cancer and difficult respiratory diseases, airway and fistula interventional therapy and geriatric respiratory diseases. 

Biography: Dr.Wu has been a post-doctoral fellow at Cleveland Clinic, USA during 2005-2006 and also received advanced clinical training for respiratory intervention in Germany. Dr. Wu is the academic leader of chronic airway inflammatory diseases and the academic backbone of geriatrics. Dr. Wu presided over a general program of National Natural Science Foundation of China - “Study on the mechanism of CFTR regulating pyroptosis via airway epithelial exosomes in PM2.5-induced asthmatic airway inflammation" in 2019, and took charge of more than ten provincial projects in the past two decades. Dr. Wu serves as a review expert of National Major New Drug Innovation, Science and Technology Major Project and National Natural Science Foundation of China. 

Education: Dr. Wu earned Bachelor's degree in Zhejiang University, Master’s degree in Sun yet-sen University and Medical Doctor in Peking University. 

Awards and Honors: Dr. Wu was awarded, "Guangdong Good Female Doctor", "the fourth Yangcheng Good Doctor", the European Respiratory Annual Conference Silver award, bronze award, the second prize of new medical technology and new projects award - given by Guangdong provincial people’s hospital. She has obtained 5 patents in the area of fistula stents. Professional Memberships: Member of ATS, ERS, IASLC and China Asthma, Cough and Lung Cancer Coalition, chairman of respiratory disease committee of Guangdong Association of Primary Medicine; member of allergy committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association.  

Publications: She is on the Editorial Board of Chinese version of Chest, Chinese Journal of multiple Organ Diseases for Geriatrics, Chinese Electronic Journal of Diagnostics, J of Resp Med & Lung Dis. She is also on the Editorial board of the second and third editions of Respiratory Medicine. She was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Progress of Geriatrics 2014. Dr. Wu has published more than 50 papers in SCI-indexed journals including JTO, Resp Res, Chest, Auto Immunity.
