Bio:

Huiming Guo, MD, is a cardiac surgeon in Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. He is the Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery and acts as the Director of MICS Program in Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute.

Dr. Guo has been in practice for more than 30 years and has experience in adult heart surgeries, including heart valve surgery, coronary bypass surgery, surgical ablation for atrial fibrillation, septal reduction therapy for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. With interest in a wide range of surgical interventions, Dr. Guo has focused on thoracoscopic procedures and transcatheter techniques.

In recognition of his dedication to patient care, he was awarded the Jindao Prize by Chinese Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons in 2016 and National Good Doctor in 2018.
