Bio:
Dr. Zhao, MD, associate chief physician, has been devoted to cardiovascular surgery in both academic research and practice for more than 10 years. He graduated from West China Medical Center, Sichuan University 2015. He has been engaging in more than 2000 cases of cardiovascular surgery, and performs more than 50 cases per year. He is skilled in Minimally invasive cardiac valvular surgery, tumor and congenital heart diseases while he also does well in Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery and Aortic Surgery such as Ascending Aortic Aneurysm and Aortic Dissection. In basic cardiovascular research, he focuses on the mechanism of organ injury and protection after cardiac surgery, and presides over a number of national and provincial research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published many papers in high-level magazines at home and abroad.
