Bio:

Dr. Du Jianru graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 1983. She is an Associate Chief Physician of the Acupuncture and Moxibustion (A&M) specialty. She used to be the Deputy Medical Director of the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PM&R) specialty, and Medical Director of the A&M specialty. Dr. Du used to work in the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS). She later studied in Guang’anmen Hospital and attended the advanced course co-organized by World Health Organization and Tongji Medical College for senior PM&R physicians. She has been practising acupuncture and physical rehabilitation and specialized in integrating traditional Chinese and modern Western medicine to treat neurological diseases including various pain and soft tissue injury, as well as other medical issues such as dizziness, insomnia, obesity, urinary incontinence, and so on. She also contributed to the book Treatment and Technology for Modern Rehabilitation and published numerous research papers. In 2019 and 2020, Dr. Du was selected as Famous Doctor of Lingnan (Acupuncture and Moxibustion) by the Guangdong Family Doctor Association.
