Bio

Dr. Tan Hong is a cardiologist at the Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute, Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. She received her doctoral degree at School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University and doctor of philosophy degree at Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute.

Dr. Tan is dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, coronary artery disease, pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, especially in the area of pulmonary arterial hypertension. She is also a well-known researcher in the area of cardiovascular disease. She has received numerous grants, including the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan and Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Plan, and she is author of more than 20 scientific articles.
