Bio

After qualifying in medicine at the Harbin Medical University, Dr. Xue continues her career and research as a cardiologist and interventionist at The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University and was promoted to chief physician and professor in 2012. At present, Dr. Xue works as a cardiovascular specialist at Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. As a visiting scholar, she learnt interventional therapy for complex coronary artery diseases and carried out experimental research on stem cell therapy for myocardial infarction at Nippon Medical University from April 2006 to December 2007. She has received one grant from the National Natural Science Foundation and four provincial grants. She published more than 40 articles in medical core journals, edited 3 books and was given numerous science and technology achievement awards.
