Bio

Dr. Zhong obtained his MD degree in 2011 at Sun Yat-sen University and PhD in cardiology in 2019 at Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute. He attended the Oxford China Fellowship Program at University of Oxford in 2015, took short term training at KU Leuven, Belgium in 2017 and studied at National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (NCCD), Beijing, in 2018. He participated as coordinator in several global research programs, e.g., International Study Comparative Health Effectiveness with Medical Invasive Approaches (ISCHEMIA). He is clinically interested in hypertension and coronary heart disease and has published works in noted medical journals like JAMA Network Open.
