She graduated from the English Class of Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Science in 1992 and gained her master's and doctoral degrees at the same university. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB)in the United States and as a visiting scholar in Japan and Hong Kong, which helped her and her team to establish a better international exchange platform and promote discipline development. After 30 years of clinical working experience, she has been a well-known expert and scholar at home and abroad. In recent years, she won the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and a number of National and Guangdong Natural Science Foundation projects. She has translated and edited 6 monographs and published more than 100 SCI and core journal papers.
