She is a joint PhD of Sun Yat-sen University and the Hong Kong University, and a visiting scholar at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard medical school. She has been engaged in the clinical work, teaching and scientific research on digestive system diseases for more than 20 years. She understands the research trends of this specialty both in China and abroad and is familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, especially peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal tumors, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), functional gastrointestinal disease, hepatobiliary diseases and pancreatic diseases.
She hosted seven projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, the Guangdong Medical Scientific Research Fund, and the Guangzhou Science and Technology Project, etc. She won the second prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the second prize of the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of science and technology award of Huaxia Medicine, the New Clinical Technology Award by Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital. She was named the Guangzhou Pearl River Science and Technology Rising Star in 2012. She published papers in SCI-indexed journals and domestic core journals and participated in the editing of two academic works.
