Chen Si-yao, female, M.D., Ph.D., physician of the First Department of Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care, graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 2015. In 2018, she obtained her certificate of national standardized resident program on cardiothoracic surgery after three-year training. Until now, she has been engaged in postoperative monitoring and treatment of cardiac surgery. Her research topic mainly involves the impact of gasotransmitter, especially endogenous sulfur dioxide, on cardiovascular disease and lung injuries, in which field she has published several articles as first author.
