LEI Li-ming, MD & PhD., chief physician, Director of the First Department of Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Member of Youth Committee of the Cardiac Critical Care of Chinese Physicians Association, Member of Youth Committee of Chinese Society of Extracorporeal Life Support, and Standing committee member of the Cardiac Critical Care of Guangdong Provincial Doctors Association. She studied at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School as visiting scholar.

Dr. Lei has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, coronary heart disease and aortic disease. She is also engaged in basic research on heart development and the perioperative complications of cardiovascular diseases. In this field, she has presided over several research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation of Guangdong, and Science and Technology Program of Guangzhou, China. She has published 12 articles as first author or corresponding author with a cumulative impact factor of more than 50 in recent years, including in Intensive Care Medicine, Frontiers in Pharmacology and Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity.
