Experience: He has been a visiting scholar at Lady Davis Institute/ Jewish General Hospital and Montreal Neurological Hospital affiliated with McGill University, Canada. He received training in diagnostic techniques for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.

Awards and Honors: Dr. Duan has authored more than 20 papers and chaired 4 provincial scientific research projects.
