Yu Zhang is currently the Director of the Department of Orthopedic Tumors of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital and the Director of orthopedic laboratory. He published more than 100 papers as the first author or corresponding author, including 40-odd articles in SCI-indexed journals. He received more than 10 projects, funded by the National Key Research and Development Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. He has 10 authorized patents and received two Guangdong second prizes in science and technology as the Principal Investigator and second investigator, respectively. He is currently the vice chairman of the Medical Metal Materials Branch of the China Biomaterials Society, the Chairman of the Professional Committee of Bone Tumor Repair Materials and Techniques, Bone Repair Materials and Devices Branch, China Biomaterials Society, the Deputy Director of the Department of Orthopedics, Department of Orthopedics, the Deputy Director of the Bone Cancer Professional Committee of Guangdong Medical Association, the Deputy Director of the Medical Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Guangdong Medical Engineering Society, the Vice Chairman of the Strategic Transformation Innovation Alliance for Degradable Magnesium Implants, Member of the China Anti-Cancer Association Sarcoma Professional Committee, Member of the Bone Cancer Professional Committee of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of the Basic and Translational Medicine Group of the Department of Orthopedics, and Member of the Joint Committee of the Guangdong Medical Association. He is on the Editorial Board of Journal of Chinese Joint Surgery, Practical Medicine, Graduate Journal, Chinese Journal of Orthopedic Clinical and Basic Research.
