Mengyu Yao is currently an attending doctor of the Department of Orthopedic Tumors of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. Dr. YAO got his bachelor’s and master’s degree at the Second Military Medical University, and received his Ph.D. degree at South China University of Technology. During his master and Ph.D. training, the main research focus is bone tumor and biomaterials for bone tumor therapy. He has published 6 SCI articles as first author. His clinical focus is treatment for pelvic tumor, including primary bone tumor such as giant cell bone tumor or osteosarcoma and metastasis bone tumor. He has rich experience in using microwave ablation to treat bone tumor. Now he is a member of the China Anti-Cancer Association Sarcoma Professional Committee.
