Dr. Guoyan Liang is an attending surgeon in Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. He got his Medical Doctor’s Degree from Sun Yat-sen University, with the awards of "National People's Republic of China Outstanding Student / Graduate Scholarship". He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in spinal diseases including cervical or lumbar degenerative diseases. He horn his professional skills and expertise by learning from the latest technology from top hospitals at home and abroad, to keep the pace with international frontier. He also performs researches focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spine diseases, of which results have been published internationally. Now he is a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society – Asian Pacific section. He delivered oral presentations at global conferences such as the Global Spine Congress, the International Cervical Spine Research Conference (CSRS-AP), the Spine World Summit, and The orthopaedic branch annual meeting (COA) of the Chinese Medical Association. He won the First Prize of the “Young Physician Excellent Presentation Contest of Guangdong Medical Association Spinal Surgery Branch”. He is now in charge of one project granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Provincial Natural Science Foundation Project, and one Clinical Research Project of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital. He had published 5 SCI articles as the first author. He will keep doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly, as he wishes to help more people with his healing hands.
