Yubin Liu, M.D. and doctoral supervisor, adjunct professor of Southern Medical University and Shantou University, works as a chief surgeon of general surgery department, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and hepatobiliary tumor surgery department in Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Liu has been engaged in general surgery and hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery for more than 20 years and formally won the title of surgeon professor in 2008. He is familiar with the integrated diagnosis and therapy for solid tumors of liver, gallbladder, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, thyroid and breast as well as other difficult and complicated surgical cases, he is especially proficient in the comprehensive and minimally invasive surgery for hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors. Besides, he also possesses abundant clinical experience in individualized management of hepatobiliary tumors based on digital technology and three-dimensional reconstruction technique.

He has published more than 20 SCI articles in international medical journals, more than 60 papers in domestic medical core journals, 4 medical monographs and 4 national invention patents.
