After graduation from the Department of Clinical Science, West China Center of Medical Sciences, Sichuan University in 1992, Sun Yunxia has been practicing clinical teaching and has been engaged in science research in pediatrics and neonatology for nearly 30 years.

Clinical Interests

• She is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal diseases, respiratory and circulatory system diseases, especially in the perioperative monitoring and treatment of critical congenital heart disease.
• She is proficient in fiberoptic bronchoscopy and neonatal hemodynamics monitoring techniques for neonates/children and has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of children with abnormal respiratory tract and airway dynamic diseases.
• She in charge of follow-up health care for critically ill infants after discharge. She has established a follow-up system for patients with congenital heart disease to track and manage their nutrition and psychomotor development after they are discharged for a long time.
