Engaged in medical imaging diagnosis for over 30 years, Dr. Huang is highly experienced in the diagnosis of nervous system diseases and MR imaging. His research interests focus on neurology radiology and the research on imaging diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases, clinical applications of MRA, CT perfusion on the cerebral tumor, MR perfusion on the cerebral tumor, and imaging of Alzheimer's disease, which is at the leading level in China.


His team has been performing the research on resting state fMRI in recent years. They use resting fMRI to explore the changes of intrinsic cortical and cortico-subcortical networks in patients with AD and PD. He participates as the principal investigator in National "Twelfth Five-Year" Plan for Science & Technology Support and National Natural Science Foundation of China (2 funds). His researches won the Second Prize and Third Prize (twice) of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award respectively.


Dr. Huang takes part in RSNA for several times with oral presentation and scientific poster. 75 original papers are published with Dr. Huang as the first author or corresponding author. He is also the chief translator of 2 English textbooks and the key author of 8 textbooks. He serves as the editor and reviewer of Radiologic Practice, Journal of China Clinic Medical Imaging, and Chinese Journal of Radiology.
