Bio and Education:Dr Wang got her medical degree from the China Medical University in 1989 and started her medical career in China Medical University for 12 years. In 2001, she got a position in the Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital after an intensive interview by the hospital experts committee. She got a national scholarship in 2002, and started a 12-months post-doctoral training in the field of PET brain tumor imaging at Dept.Neuroradiology, Karolinska Hospital, and 6-months research training focused on Alzheimer’s disease using PET noval tracer at UUPC, Sweden. Then, she backed home and worked as a nuclear medicine physician, she served as the department head since 2006.
She has extensive experience in the clinical and academic fields, with her research mainly focused on cardiovascular imaging and neuroimaging, the two most technically challenging but fast-developing and promising nuclear medicine topics. She has been the investigator of multiple state and province sponsored research programs and had extensive publications, including international peer-reviewed journal papers and multiple book chapters.
Professional memberships:She currently serves as a standing committee member in several provincial and national professional societies.
Publications:Up to 2021, she has published more than 40 research papers.
