Dash医生来自印度Asian Heart Institute and Research Center（AHIRC）的心血管内科，专程到我院心研所心内科进修外周血管介入治疗。AHIRC位于该国最大城市孟买，心血管手术量居该国首位。DASH医生已从事心血管病介入治疗多年，鉴于我院心内科在冠脉介入治疗及周围血管介入治疗方面的丰富经验及技术优势，而专程来我院访问学习。

　    陈纪言主任介绍，在院领导的关心和支持下，心内科业务发展迅速。去年我院经皮冠脉介入治疗（PCI）例数已经超过3000例，位居华南地区首位，国内名列前茅，在手术例数不断增加的情况下，手术难度也不断提高，左主干病变、多支血管病变、慢性闭塞病变等，这些曾经的PCI壁垒被逐步攻破。而在周围血管介入方面，心内科罗建方主任等已在十年前先后开展包括颈动脉，肾动脉、下肢动脉及主动脉夹层及主动脉瘤的介入治疗。近年来完成的主动脉腔内修复治疗例数已近五百例，位居我国前列，并且在数次的美国、欧洲、台湾及港澳地区学术会议上介绍了我院经验。由于注重将丰富的经验与创新的技术相结合，心内科心血管介入治疗水平稳步提高，在国内外的影响力不断提升，得以吸引外国学者到我院学习交流。今后心内科将进一步加强国际学术交流，丰富学术交流手段，不但要把自己医生派出去，也要把外国学者引进来，在相互交流中促进心内科更快更好地发展。

I, Dr Debabrata Dash, came to Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute, Guangzhou as a guest cardiologist. I was overwhelmingly well received in the cardiac cath lab by Dr ChenJiyan ，Luo Jianfang and his team. It was an honour to work in cardiac cath lab and make progress in endovascular treatment in aortic dissection, AAA, carotid, renal and other aspects of peripheral vascular disease. The hospital is very good with excellent cardiology department with good team of cardiologists. A million thanks to Dr Luo for the kind hospitality and sharing his knowledge with me. I also thank sincerely Dr Huang, Dr Liu, Dr He and many talented doctors whose tireless efforts have helped me to gain significantly. Last but not the least I enjoyed Chinese hospitality with comfortable stay in Guangzhou. I would have stayed longer, but time does not permit me. I hope this friendship would last long and I would look forward to coming back again.
