As a leading institution in Southern China for the diagnosis, treatment, and research of thoracic and cardiovascular diseases, Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital has always been committed to advancing technological innovation and disciplinary development in this field. The designation as an “ASCVTS Elite Training Center” is not only an acknowledgment of its academic strength by an international organization but also a significant responsibility. In the future, the hospital will collaborate closely with the other 2 designated healthcare facilities to address training needs across the southern, northern, and central regions of China. It will strictly adhere to ASCVTS standards in conducting international academic exchanges, professional training, and surgical demonstrations, actively sharing clinical experience and research achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic and cardiovascular diseases.
