She graduated with a medicine degree from the Department of Medicine of the West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University in 1992 and has served as deputy director of Dongchuan Outpatient Clinic, assistant to the president of Pingzhou Branch, deputy director of East Zone, deputy director of Guangdong Geriatric Institute, and director of Hospital Administrative Office.

Vice president Yang currently serves as the chairman of Guangdong Province Hospital Association's Hospital Administration Committee, vice chairman of the Smart Health and Medical Humanities Working Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and vice chairman of the Ophthalmology Committee of Guangdong Medical Association. She is an expert in clinical application review of medical technology in the second and third category, and an expert in medical malpractice appraisal in Guangdong province. She is an referee of The Journal of Practical Medicine, and an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Clinical Healthcare .

Vice president Yang has rich experience and expertise in hospital administration and clinical care. She has a well-researched understanding of hospital administration, cultural development, customer service, staff training, etc, and is the initiator of "Guangdong Alliance among Directors of Hospital Administrative Office" and "China Hospital Administration Office Directors Salon". Her current interest is artificial intelligence research on retinal image-assisted diagnosis of systemic diseases (application of artificial intelligence in Ophthalmology, eye health management, and fundus diseases). She has published more than 30 papers in SCI and core journals over the past 5 years, with a cumulative impact factor of 100.12 impact factor points. She published 1 monograph and obtained 2 patents and has presided over and participated in a number of national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects.
